Meals on Wheels is taking further precautions to minimise the spread of the Covid-19 virus. In addition to previous information for all volunteers and staff to be especially vigilant about staying home if feeling unwell, self-isolating after international travel or close contact with a known case of COVID-19, washing and sanitising hands, and coughing into your elbow or a tissue, we are now adding “social distancing” procedures to further reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
The bulletin provides details regarding changes, effective from Tuesday 17 2020 regarding meal deliveries and volunteer precautions.
